Week 1 projections — model v1

Each projection starts from last season's opportunity-based expected points per game (xFP/g), shrunk toward the position mean so a small sample can't masquerade as a career, then adjusted for depth-chart role, the opponent's fantasy points allowed, and the Vegas game total against the league average. PPR scoring. Players without an nflverse baseline (typically rookies) are marked provisional and project to the position prior.
